These Terms govern your use of Regen Monitor for Duramax ("the App") published by Bulpara Inc ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to them.
1. What the App is
An informational tool that reads diesel particulate filter (DPF) regeneration data from supported trucks through a Bluetooth OBD-II adapter, and shows it, logs it and alerts you about it.
2. Informational and read-only
The App is not a diagnosis by General Motors or any vehicle manufacturer, and is not a substitute for your truck's own warnings, its owner's manual or a qualified technician. Readings depend on your truck, your adapter and the Bluetooth connection, and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Always follow your truck's own warnings and messages.
The App only reads data. It does not write to your truck, clear codes, force regenerations, or modify, disable or remove any emissions equipment, and must not be used to help anyone do so.
3. Driving
Don't use the App in a way that distracts you while driving. Set it up before you drive; alerts are designed to be heard, not read. You are responsible for operating your vehicle safely and lawfully.
4. Adapters
The adapter is third-party hardware that you choose, and it isn't included. We aren't responsible for an adapter's behavior, compatibility or battery drain.
5. Purchases
The unlock is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. It is not a subscription and does not renew. It can be restored on your other devices with the same Apple ID. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
6. Third-party data
Vehicle signal definitions are derived from the Open Board Diagnostics project (OBDb) and used under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 licence. Details are in the App's credits.
7. Trademarks
Duramax, Silverado, Sierra, Chevrolet and GMC are trademarks of General Motors. Ram and Cummins are trademarks of their respective owners. They are used only to identify compatible vehicles. The App is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
8. Acceptable use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and not to reverse engineer, modify or redistribute it except as permitted by law.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bulpara Inc is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from its use, including damage to any vehicle, filter or engine.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
