Regen Monitor for Duramax ("the App") is published by Bulpara Inc ("we", "us", "our"). The short version: everything the App reads stays on your iPhone. We collect nothing, and there is no account.
1. Bluetooth and your truck
With your permission, the App connects over Bluetooth to an OBD-II adapter you choose and reads values from your truck's engine computer: regen status, filter temperatures and pressure, regen counters and the vehicle identification number (VIN). It uses Bluetooth in the background only to keep reading while you drive with the phone locked. It never writes to your truck.
2. Data stored on your device
- Trucks: the VIN, model year and the nickname you give each truck.
- Regen history: each regen's start, end and outcome, and counter readings at most every few minutes for the interval chart.
- Preferences: the last adapter used, units and alert settings, and whether the unlock is purchased.
None of it leaves your iPhone. Deleting the App deletes all of it.
3. Notifications
Regen alerts are local notifications created on your iPhone. No push service is involved.
4. No analytics, no trackers, no network
The App contains no analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporters or third-party trackers, shows no ads, and makes no network requests of its own. We operate no servers that hold user data. We don't track your location.
5. Purchases
The unlock is a one-time purchase sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple tells the App whether it's unlocked; we never see your payment details or Apple ID.
6. Children
The App is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
